Unable to source a full indigenous creative team for BUKAL, Yvette Walker, as JUTE’s first indigenous producer, hopes funding will be available to bring in local indigenous mentees to develop skills in directing, sound design and set design.

CQU academic Dr Susan Davis is leading a research partnership with JUTE to assess the impact of the ‘Dare to Dream’ touring program on indigenous children and their communities in Far North QLD.
